Although there are Democrats that are just as tribal as the GOP we also have a large percentage of people who go out of their way to find reasons to disagree with party leadership.

Revisit the Debbie Wasserman Schultz frenzy - and recall that nothing she did was illegal or even related to the National Election. It was all internal to the Democratic primary.

So no I don't believe that Democrats would be as blindly accepting of this particular villainy as our GOP counterparts.
