It took less than five minutes of my day. [View all]
I just got off the phone with the offices of my U.S. Representative and Senators (two republicans and a democrat).
US Rep
"I'm calling to let the Congressman know that I expect him to support Representatives Swalwell and Cummings' legislation to authorize an investigation into Russian interference in our election. His constituents deserve to know the extent of what happened and what can be done to prevent foreign influence in our elections in the future. I would expect nothing less from someone interested in preserving the integrity of our democratic principles."
Senators
"I'm calling to inform the Senator of my concern, in fact alarm, regarding Russian interference in our election. His constituents deserve to know the extent of what happened and what can be done to prevent foreign influence in our elections in the future. I'd also like to urge that Congress exercise its oversight of the FBI and determine their role in this unprecedented attack on our cherished democratic principles."
Less than five minutes. And phone calls are way more effective than email!
