8. Ok - I just called my senators and Congressman and I have serious phone phobia

I HATE calling people - absolutely hate it. And I embarrassed myself when I called Idaho Sen Crapo re: VAWA ( I was calling a bunch of Senators). Because I called him CRAP-o instead of long A Crape-o. Hey C-R-A-P spells crap to me.

So picking up the phone was scary


I live in Minnesota, so I just cheered on my Senators and told them I support them and urge them to keep pushing this.

But my Rep is Eric Paulsen, ugh. So I quoted from his damn web page about how he is all about homeland security and that seriously - nothing is a bigger threat to our democracy than another country messing with our elections.

I sounded like an idiot (because I have a cold and I was anxious), but on the plus side, probably sounded like the people who voted for him.
