#1 what exactly are "rational decisions"? Are huge tax cuts for the rich supposed to be rational decisions that I am okay with? Was the invasion of Iraq a rational decision?

#2 well, I stopped reading the news a long time ago. Not really sure why it would be rational to follow and obsess about every little thing Trump says or does. Some of the obsession and wailing does not seem either rational nor productive to me. Nor do I think that paying attention to the M$M would really make me more 'informed'.

#3 It can always get worse. A whole lot worse. Plus, I tend to be cynical about nonsense like "the establishment that rigged the system".

#4. These seem to be TYPES rather than stages. You move through stages. So if I have reached stage 4 then I should have gone through stages 1-3. I am not really "desperate" about doing something, and it is pretty clear that I, and WE, are fairly helpless. Especially me, in my red state, red district. I'd have to be delusion to not be aware of that.
