32. California gives me hope

Living in Texas I am so tired of this seemingly endless push to the extreme right. What has happened to Texas and for that matter most of America. I know being part of the bible belt probably doesn't help things becuase for some reason most of the religious folks I know are bigoted and prejudiced against anyone that doesn't look like them and even those that are not of their religious affiliation. When will this all end.

I wish I knew what it is about the East and West coasts that make them such an enlightened part of our nation.
