Because they want to reject everything Obama & the Dems have done and do things "Trump's way", every disaster that ensues can't be blamed on the previous administration - which has always been the GOP's strategy.

There is NO WAY you can tell someone that the affordable healthcare coverage they had under Obama was somehow taken away by Obama after Trump took office. It's the same for any cuts to SS or SNAP - even the dumbest Republican will know that what Obama protected was taken away by Republicans.

IOW, "blame the black guy" isn't going to work. And the idiots who voted for Trump are going to realize that immediately.

I don't think "We're the party that left your grandma destitute, took food out of your kids' mouths, and left you with no healthcare coverage!" is going to be a winning political slogan in future.
