They really are a cult. If they had any fear about this asshole at all, they wouldn't have voted for him in the first place. These folks are NOT thinking clearly. They LOVE Trump and his crudeness. They themselves say that they don't care if he doesn't build a wall or deport anyone; for his "fan club," the fact that he merely said these horrible things is enough for them.

Look no further than third-world Kansas for an example. That state is one big uneducated, backward, sewage-filled pothole, and yet Kansans keep voting for right-wing Koch-types. They all think they're going to meet Jesus any day now, so they don't give a shit about this planet or its inhabitants.

In short, we are fucked.

Sorry for the gloom, but I just don't see any other avenues right now.
