The only people who might be interested in performing for that farce are those who are such has-beens (or never-wases), and therefore have nothing to lose, that they'll take any gig that gives them exposure. Although Bocelli is an overrated fake opera singer who sings flat on the high notes, he still is inexplicably popular and has a career that he probably wants to keep.
