There's more than one excellent ad to consider. I absolutely support what I see in the State Farm ad, but my research has revealed that State Farm is a long-time member of the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC), which promotes extreme, conservative laws opposing everything we Dems believe in. They write laws and distribute them to states with the objective of overturning laws which protect laborers, weaken gun regulations, and so forth. And the company has chaired ALEC in the past. I'm very seriously considering moving my car and homeowners insurance from State Farm because of what I discovered. Obviously, each person has to decide for himself or herself, but I wish this ad actually typified their philosophy. It truly does not.
