(151,345 posts)I was born a week before the Hiroshima bomb was dropped, developed under his administration, though. I had a college friend who was born in the Manzanar internment center. I have often condemned FDR for that policy, and will continue to do so. No President in my lifetime has been perfect. Far from it. Would I have voted for FDR? Certainly. Would I still have condemned he internment policies. Yes, absolutely. Did he also do much that was praiseworthy. Yes, indeed, he did.
I do not know of a single thing from Trump that I would not condemn. Not a single thing. There are differences between politicians and elected officials. I'm knowledgeable enough to recognize them. Trump is a racist. Trump is a misogynist. Trump is a bigot on many fronts. He makes no bones about it. How could anyone vote for such a man? I disassociate myself from such people. I know better, and they should, as well.
