11. I find it interesting that the Talladega College Band accepted a invitation

Talladega College is a private Historically Black College with a 200 member band. I can imagine that there is a lot of conflict between exposure for the band, a free trip to Washington for band members and the performing for a President-elect that most members probably find repulsive.

According to a Birmingham News article, the school will not comment on the invitation. Also in the article:

"No marching bands from schools in the Washington, D.C. area are expected to perform, including one that has taken part in the past five inaugural parades. Marching bands from Howard University, Bowie State University and the University of Maryland, College Park will also be absent this year."
