DT spokesman asks why people aren't calling for Hillary to be "punished" [View all]

because of her attempts to influence the election.

And this is worse than many people here realize: DT has been pretending that the debate issue affected HIM, in HIS debates with Hillary.

In reality, it happened during the primaries, Brazile didn't share specific questions that were asked at the debate, and she wasn't even DNC chairman at the time.

Donald Trump’s press secretary claimed there should be more focus on “punishing” Hillary Clinton for her alleged manipulation of the election than on Russia’s alleged undermining of US democracy.

Sean Spicer questioned the “magnitude” of the scrutiny on Russia’s alleged cyber warfare against the Democratic National Committee in an attempt to boost his boss into the White House.

He then attempted to deflect questions on an issue which is gathering bipartisan support by focusing on Mr Trump’s former Democratic rival.

“Why aren’t we talking about Hillary Clinton getting debate questions ahead of time? That’s a pretty valid attempt to influence an election – somebody giving her debate questions and answers before an election,” he said, referring to former CNN commentator and DNC chair, Donna Brazile, allegedly handing over primary season debate questions to the Clinton team.

“I want to know, was she given the questions to my debate?” he asked at a rally in North Carolina. “But she was given the questions to a debate by Donna Brazile.”

There was no suggestion that Brazile had access to the Republican primary debates or the general election debates. But on Twitter, whenever he referred to the Brazile scandal, Trump left that murky. Brazile, he would say, leaked questions from “a debate” or “the debate.” Someone dipping in, without reading the details, would be left thinking that Brazile had rigged the Clinton-Trump debates — debates that Clinton was seen to have won.
