20. Ford's anti semitism is well known

But during the late 20 through the 30s. this was not an uncommon theme in most of this country. He did business with the Germans because they paid him for is work. He did work for Joe Stalin because he was paid for his work. Both the Nazi state of Germany and the Communist state of the Soviet Union were willing to pay Ford many millions of dollars for his skill in organizing a successful manufacturing operation. In return for that money Ford built those people, first class manufacturing operations. Politics had little to do with the decisions to build for those people, being paid for the work was what counted.
