(196,494 posts)27. Probably my earliest political memory. At a friend's house, his father sitting in a dark room
watching TV in his suit. I asked what was going on and my friend said it was something called "Watergate". His dad was just sitting there in the middle of a weekday afternoon which was very odd to see.
