Can an Attorney General wear a white sheet and hood? [View all]

The Attorney General of the U.S. is the nation’s leading law enforcement officer. And Trump’s choice for this position is Senator Jeff Sessions of Alabama.

Why didn’t Trump go all the way and appoint David Duke?

Sessions’ record on civil rights is in line with that of the KKK. So I’m going to go out on a limb here and predict that the Senate won’t confirm him. Republicans backed down on wiping out the independent ethics office and it’s possible they’ll back down here too.

Then again, we know that the Republican Party is a criminal enterprise, so they just might approve him. Yeah, the optics of a widely recognized racist/bigot as AG is not good, but do Republicans really give a rat’s ass about that?

Anyhow, I believe that the Senate will go against their Orange Leader on this appointment and shoot down Sessions' appointment.

What do you think?
