I've been called a baby killer by family members because I admitted to voting for Democrats.

You cannot rationalize with the irrational. Either you accept that you are a pariah to them and have to constantly put up with being told you are going to incinerate in hell for eternity every time you see them or you muster the strength to walk away and never look back.

Those people do exist. They are not mythical. And when they are family their harassment can get to the point where you have to escape. Consider yourself fortunate.
