It almost looks like Gibson is processing what he's hearing, but not Vaughn. I can't help but wonder if he's one of those who blames his less than 'hot' career on people not hiring him because of his politics. I've seen his recent IMDB activity, which is pretty anemic. Could be his choice. Could be the casting director's.
But then, again, what I saw and re-watched several times just struck me as very interesting but is still just my impression.
