In reply to the discussion: BREAKING: Russians have "compromising information" on Donald Trump [View all]Lee-Lee
(6,324 posts)That document is formatted in an attempt to look like a typical INTSUM or similar document created by an intelligence agency. But it's an attempt and doesn't look like and real intelligence document. But it has a lot of issues.
The heading at the top is a classification that neither the US nor Great Britian uses.
The rest of the formatting is not consistent with how a classified document is done with many discrepancies.
The information in it would never be classified at the "Confidential" level, given that it contains very specific information about top level players and the means by which much of this information was gathered. It would be at minimum Secret, and with the mix of details about the targets and the methods quite likely TS.
The formatting, wording and style are just off to me. They seem that someone wanted to paint a picture in a style appearing to be from intelligence sources rather than someone reporting information as it comes within those sources.
It may all be real- but enough hits my radar to give me pause trusting it no matter how bad I want it to be real. Because if this is fake and the entire anti-Trump movement runs with it then that will be a huge blow to iur credibility, and I wouldn't put it past the right wing to plant this as a fake story with the outrageous things like golden showers just to later slam the left as believing fake news and having now credibility.
We really need to tread very cautiously on this until further evidence can be dug up one way or another.
