to make up for getting rid of the tax on payroll income over $200,000 and investment income for the rich.


the *only* thing republicans actually hate about the aca (other than it was an obama victory) is that its taxes are very progressive. remember that this was originally a right-wing heritage foundation idea.

their ideal replacement would have the same features but be funded with a much more regressive tax, like a national sales tax -- except that's too obvious, they need something that can be downplayed.
