But can the South and Midwest be compared to California? I tend to think that Californians are more sophisticated and discerning and less likely to swayed by massive expenditures in an attempt to buy offices. It has been my experience having lived and traveled in the South that it is unusual not to be bombarded everywhere you go with the likes of Rush, Hannity and the continuous FOX propaganda. The hardware store, barber shop, restaurants and bars seem to have only one channel on their TVs; FOX 24 hours a day. Hell they don't even turn them off when they close.
