(30,058 posts)32. On a few answers I thought he was pushing for everyone to have insurance and it was a good thing
to have insurance. They have sat on making improvements for six years and now they are probably going to give the same program back and call it their plan. There are a lot of people like the gentleman at the first who was very happy to have ACA, they complain about the high deductibles but how much money would a person pay if they went without insurance for the same condition, they would pay more than the deductible. I do hope they make some improvements but it will almost require everyone to purchase insurance in order to drop the premium, no different than ACA was designed to have everyone have insurance.

There wasn't a public option in the ACA, but should have been. It would have increased competition
