5. I can't believe their time as our First Family is finished.

Seems like not so long ago they were moving in and the girls were so young. There was so much hope and optimism and then the Republicans messed it up with their intentional obstructionist plan to stop President Obama at all costs. They didn't give a damn about the American people or what we wanted or needed. If I live to be a hundred years old, I will never forgive them for that.

My hat is off to the Obamas for 8 years of dignified leadership and for showing us what a modern American family can be. Their example will go on long after they have moved out of the White House. I wish them only good luck and great health, free of the stresses they have endured in order to serve the American people!
