to travel to see a provider after a 4 month wait, that is also a problem. Health care should not be available as only a "safety net". Prevention is good, early diagnosis and treatment is good. Waiting until you need to be hospitalized is not good. "Just go to to the ER" and make them eat the cost as well as tie up resources is not a good solution either.

Many providers don't take it because it pays so little.
