How dare those freeloading soldiers think they can go out and sponge off the taxpayer just because they got shot in a war, blown up in a training accident, or contracted food poisoning from eating in the mess hall. Come to think of it, why are those useless government employees under the impression they can get by without paying for the food they eat in the chow halls or paying rent for their barracks rooms?*
* Room and board are part of a soldier's pay.
