Stop the inauguration? No.
Weaken him further? HELL YES.

He was able to threaten and intimidate a number of republicans into playing along with him because they needed his coattails to get elected, but you know in their heart of hearts, most of them know he is a complete fucking idiot, and most of them hate him almost as much as we do. They're DYING to take him down, or at the very least, step out of the way and watch his ass fall down.

His poll numbers are ABYSMAL and they know it. They will be more than happy to see his stupid ass do a flying face-plant. And the earlier, the better it works out for them. The less time they have to spend on the record defending his idiocy and pretending he was a legitimate Republican, the sooner they can get back to pretending to be the party of "family values" and fiscal responsibility.
