(7,908 posts)15. Dictators and totalitarians have a weak point. They rely on
the obedience of their subjects. Sustained resistance or disobedience tends to destabilize such regimes, maybe even more effectively than armed struggle. You want to attack dictators at their point of greatest weakness (which is not the armed constabulary, where dictatorial regimes hold an initial and substantial advantage). Their greatest weakness is their reliance on the obedience of their subjects.
If Trump is going to use tax dollars to discriminate against Muslims and or Latinos, why then we must all risk imprisonment or death to take up a policy of sustained tax resistance.
Will we? Time will tell. Time, though, to gum up the works and render Trumpland ungovernable.
