No more kumbaya. For the last 8 years I coddled my friends' and relatives' racist, sexist, homophobic asses, not wanting to hurt their feelings, even though they didn't give a shit about mine. No more. It is long past time they were shamed for it. They have lived without any consequences for their outrageous, reptilian behavior. They are actually shocked when I respond to their posts. They are so used to posting crazy shit and no one challenging it. They feel offended when someone does. As I point out to them, freedom of speech does not mean freedom from others' opinions regarding what you said. If you post shit on social media where others can see it, then people will assume you want comment on it. And when you post racist, sexist, homophobic, right wing clueless shit, you don't get to skate.
