Chris Hayes Has Arrived With ‘Up’

15. Morning Joe is getting unbearable. I am going to email them and tell them

specifically why I choose Hayes and MHP over MJ:

I'm tired of the retread old farts. Mike Barnicle is a big bore, Carl Bernstein doesn't have an original thought in his sour head. The parade of rightwing lunatics in Congress can no longer be tolerated. Hayes and MHP have new, dynamic, whip smart people who actually know what they are talking about and have exciting ideas. The legislators they have on are smart and interesting.

I'm super tired of watching Mika being yelled out and interrupted by an a-hole who is a loudmouth jerk. Hayes is respectful of women and actually listens to them and MHP is a delightful host to her panelists, engaging them in bright, informative discussions.

I'm super sick of panel after panel without ONE woman present, talking about the burning issues of the day and then lapsing into little pissy boys who act like they need to be re-potty trained. Hayes has diverse panels and practically always has one or more women on them as does MHP. Racial diversity is always the norm, period.

My MJ watching has dropped dramatically. I switch over to Current but I do find that the format (host sitting behind a mike at a desk) to be a bit boring. I'm hoping that will pick up as time goes on...

I wish I had Chris and Melissa on every weekday morning (altho I sure wouldn't get much done around the house!)...
