5. This is where rushing to print is hurting everyone

Journalists are going to make mistakes, but they are making more and more of them due to the need for clicks. And the right-wing is going to use every single one of these mistakes against them and us. Not to mention that their mistakes can blow back against their audience if we end up believing/sharing information that is later proven incorrect.

Publishers/Editors need to determine how to make money while also allowing their reporters the opportunity to take an extra breath or two to verify the accuracy of their stories. I know that the industry has been hurting for years. I'd love to have a solution.
