You know how too many people think their opinions are equal to facts?
Now think of that on a grand scale - where government is now saying facts not only do not exist, but now what you believe to be the truth is the truth even if facts don't support your belief, because there are no facts, just different ways of seeing the same thing. Different ways of seeing a fact.
They are taking the glass is half full/half empty perception and claiming that means since both are true, depending on how you see the water in the glass, then the crowd was 1.5 million if you believe that is what 1.5 million looks like.
So if you think a lie is the truth, then it becomes the truth because you believe it to be true. Regardless of evidence to the contrary.
The same with a fact. It will only be a fact if they agree with it.
It's a perception game.
It's a con.
