5. thing is, i'm not sure donnie can really start a trade war without help from congress.

and congress can simply say no.

what donnie can do is withdraw from tpp (already happening) and refuse to negotiate new trade deals.

and if he does "renegotiate nafta", e.g., the senate can refuse to ratify if it's they think it will ignite a trade war.

so i'm not sure donnie will get the chance to start a trade war.
