If you're serious with a bully, they think they've won. If you treat them like the insecure babies they are, turning their weapons against them, you've won.
Taking the color "they've" decided denotes weakness and using it as a rallying point for strength and resiliency against their selfish tyranny works.
After all, Pink is just a color. We could just as well use Orange or Green.
Nothing soft and weak about the women who made (by themselves) and handed out pink pussy hats to march for miles in potential damp and cold to show they aren't the types to just roll over and be trampled. Nothingg soft and weak about the people who join Code Pink, risking beatings and jail for their activities.

If it bothers you, think of it as a "Rose Rebellion".
Like in, the "War of the Roses" those pretty, soft, sweet-smelling stereotypical feminine symbols - roses - became the symbol of one of the most treacherous, barbaric clan in-fighting in English History.
