Thomas is 68. It's unlikely that he's anywhere close to retirement either.

Anthony Kennedy (80), OTOH, will probably retire pretty soon. He may wait two years on the assumption that Republicans will pick up seats in the Senate... depending on how this current nomination battle goes.
