I totally agree with your post. I don't think she is "abused" in the "normal" sense (for lack of a better way to frame my argument). She may be unhappy, but that's not abused. She may be lonely, but that's not abused. She may not have wanted the limelight, but that's not abuse.

I mean, she is his THIRD wife and there is plenty of information out there about how he treated his first two wives. She's bound to have known what she was getting into.

The fact that she has chosen to live apart from him is telling to me. I don't buy the idea that it is for the benefit of their minor son. I think it is her decision and her desire to be away from him. It may be mutual with both Melania and Trump feeling that way. After all, they've been married for over a decade, and his history is that he likes a newer model (pun intended) at some point.
