25. Abuse can be emotional and verbal.....

and most narcissists like to practice the emotional and verbal abuse. The more they can denigrate, humiliate and marginalize someone, the more powerful they feel.

If you ask me, she shows clear signs of being emotionally abused. She rarely smiles in his presence.

However, I have no sympathy for her whatsoever. It's not like she couldn't divorce him and walk away with enough money for the rest of her life. No one would blame her if she left him.
