Declare martial law where? Send who to enforce it? The military? Dismantling an agency is one thing, dismantling our democracy is something entirely different. We are not those agencies that we created to serve us. WE, US, are the democracy and we have a long history of being nothing but a democracy. We've been practicing it for a long time. We are not Germany in the 1930's or Russia in the 1980's. But we have been complacent and we are going to have to fight to keep our democracy. I think we will come out of this mess stronger and with an appreciation of what happens when you take your eye off the ball.
