Oh dear. Good job with the broad brush and lack of a link. This trend of call outs is becoming more transparent. You are calling out du members in a broad brush manner with little to nothing backing it up.
That is also a perfectly fine and non-offensive statement. Demented and dementia have their own meanings. Demented can and is often used to describe actions completely unrelated from dementia.
