(21,044 posts)57. I watched Al Franken on Rachel last night
He seemed to be suggesting that some of the yes votes were a way of enticing GOP senators to vote against De Voss and some of the other more egregiously offensive nominees. It's like he still believes there are "moderate Republicans" we can do business with. If that's the case the last 8 years haven't taught him a god damned thing. Meet Republicans half way and they'll bust your chops and leave you bleeding in the middle of the road along with the yellow stripe and a dead armadillo.
