31. "Well I don't really know much about how government works anyway"

I have two trump supporting friends on FB. They seem to agree with what I talk about so I suspect their vote was outrage or something about the brown guy and his party. I live in a community that went trump, but these past few weeks, people have not had the joyfulness that I remember when Obama was voted in. I think there are a lot of people feeling shame and regret and it is in the air. Except for the day of the women's marches. It was warm and sunny and a good feeling in the air. But that was the only day like that in a while.

I don't think we can change their minds but we have to keep yelling and talking about what is going on that is wrong!

This week I called my Senator who is a Dem. and just emailed the one who is not, as well as my state rep. who is repub. It feels damn good to do that. If they are supposed to represent me they are going to hear from me.
