That describes the minority of a body of people that are a minute minority of this country. You're talking maybe 300k people. I have no proof other than my experience. The large majority of enlistees are not career minded. It's temporary. Even for the "career-oriented", shit happens, minds change, hell, the military changes. This R vs D in the military is overblown.

Having said that, I agree with "good luck" but for more practical reasons like availability of weapons, logistics, and above all, duty. A sworn oath to uphold the Constitution and obey orders from the CiC. At present, that's Herr Twittler von Shit Gibbon who hasn't had one Congress person, law enforcement agency or regulatory body file formal charges of any kind against him or even hint that it's in the works.

Being a dick isn't illegal and won't convince me to turn my weapon (If I was still active duty) against my fellow citizen who happens to support said dick, no matter how friggin' stupid they are.

As a soldier, I'm looking for my so called Leadership right now. All I hear are yes votes for crazy people to head federal agencies.
