Who remembers the "last" Saturday Night Massacre?
When Nixon ("I am not a crook"
wanted the independent prosecutor Archibald Cox fired (guess he was "too independent" for Nixon's liking) and AG Elliot Richardson and Asst. AG William Ruckelshaus would NOT fire him. He finally got Robert Bork (google "getting borked!" to do the dirty and all of that pretty much put down the red carpet for Nixon's "bye-bye" wave from the White House lawn.
The way this weekend is going, I get a feeling that it could be the same thing all over again, only Der Drumpf would probably FLIP US OFF as he's getting has nasty, rotten ASS kicked out of town!
OK, well, at least, here's hoping!!!!
And there was NO violence (thank God - and here's hoping it remains that way).
