Anti-Trump rallies are popping up around Maine today

At least three rallies, two of them impromptu, are being held across Maine Sunday morning by Mainers angered by President Trump’s ban on refugees and other executive actions in his first days in office.

At 10:30 a.m., protesters are gathering at Portland City Hall on Congress Street to call on Sen. Susan Collins to stand up to President Trump on issues such as the Affordable Care Act and Trump’s Cabinet nominees. That rally has been organized by the Maine People’s Alliance and other groups. .........................
