His bio states he did 7 years as a Naval officer in the late 1970s-early 1980s.
But it also states under education:

If he was in college from 1976-1985, when did he log 7 years in the Navy in the late 1970s-early 1980s? Mostly stateside, I'll bet, and it sounds like reserve duty.

On edit: Irony with subject line, Bannon's daughter has served with the 101st Airborne. Additional sources state that Bannon did 4 years at sea, and joined the Navy "right after college." Your mileage may vary.
