14. As a "devout" Catholic Sheila has my prayers

As do you, my dear heart. It is so hard on us who remain when those we have loved our whole lives leave us. The blessing you have is all the great memories that keep her alive in your heart. You earlier eulogy painted a picture of a truly great friend and person.

For Sheila:
Eternal rest grant unto her , O Lord,
and let perpetual light shine upon Sheila .
May the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
Amen.

For us who remain is a world less bright in her absence, especially Are_grits_groceries:
God of all consolation,
in your unending love and mercy for us,
you turn the darkness of death into the dawn of new life.
Show compassion to your people in sorrow.
Be our refuge and our strength to lift us
from the darkness of this grief
to peace and joy in your presence.
We ask this through Christ, our Lord.
