(51,905 posts)Why do you think he has been so successful? Trump represents what every Republican voter wants to become. They only see him as a success because no one has delved deep into his business relationships to examine how many times his social networks have bolstered him to avoid failure.
And without these facts, you really can't assess the situation properly. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if his voters are perfectly fine with Trump's connections to Russian mafia, Putin or any other enemy of the state. There is only one thing that will wake them up. And that's the realization that all the damage that will occur during Trump's presidency will be paid by taxpayer money.
Our next Democratic president should not come in with the desire to unify the two parties. They should come in ready to recriminate Trump supporters, since we cannot move forward with backward people still waiting for the Great White Hope.
