Many things could have and SHOULD have happened to keep this unbalanced narcissist out of the White House, even if he only ran because he wanted to show up the black President.

And there are many things ANYONE could say to set Trump off.

President Obama is not obligated to intervene, not that he could do anything that would bring Trump, his administration, or the GOP to heel.

He tried his best to warn voters away from the GOP, and then from Trump when he got the nomination.

This is the GOP's monster, and the American people didn't muster the turnout to stop him. The President did what he could.
