27. This is why I am now carrying a pistol

I live in a heavily-Republican rural Virginia county. In addition to a gas-sipping Mini Cooper, I drive a big-ass gas-guzzling F25 4WD truck. My the rear of my truck . . . bumper, tailgate, window . . . is emblazoned with stickers and decals:

-- Vietnam Vet
-- Proud Democrat
-- Remington
-- Sig-Sauer
-- Keep the Immigrants, Deport Trump
-- I'll show your president as much respect as you showed mine
-- EMT on-board

At least once a week one of our local knuckle-dragging rightwingers comments on my bumper stickers . . . in the parking lot at hardware, grocery, bank, wherever.

A couple of weeks before the election, one guy started shouting at me "You goddam Democrats should be shot, every goddam one of you!!" I asked if he planned to do the shooting. After cursing at me again, he hopped in his car and left. I've seen him a couple of times since . . . each time he points his hand/finger at me and pantomimes firing a pistol at me. I've also seen him three times driving slowly by my home.

I'm now carrying one of my pistols -- S&W M1911 .45 -- under the front seat, two magazines loaded with magnum hollow points. There's also a loaded 12-guage pump shotgun by my bed and a loaded AR-15 behind the drapes to the right of the front door.


These people are dangerous sonsofbitches.

Have the people who attacked these two guys been arrested?
