12. We Lost To Trump Because We Didn't Campaign Against The Repug Party.....

instead we campaigned against a personality - Trump. He was out there campaigning to change D.C. and drain the swamp. He ran against Washington and status quo - and the Dems made the mistake of channeling all their energies against him personally. We didn't talk much about the fact that the Repugs sandbagged and gridlocked Washington and that they were the reason that the people wanted change. The people had change right in the palm of their hand with Obama - but he was stonewalled through his whole 2 terms by the Repugs.

The strategy of the Repugs to obstruct - broke Washington - and that was the very reason that they won big with Trump - because he campaigned for change - yet he was just a fox in the hen house.

The people that voted for him bought that crap without any regard to the fact that he was the Repug nominee. We didn't tie the Repug Party to him.

I believe now in these first 11 days of his presidency - that the People are finally understanding what a con he was and that he was just a front for the Repug Party.

We need to continue to tie him and the Repug Party together - so that when the 2018 election gets here that there will be a massive backlash to win back the Senate and House for the Dems.
