2. I saw the tape. Conway, as usual, is comical in her straight-faced Baghdad Bob obfuscation act.

But what I thought was really pathetic was when she mentioned the 'Bowling Green Massacre,' and Matthews took a beat like he didn't know what she was talking about...and then just ASSUMED she must be talking about a real event that he hasn't heard of.

If you were talking to a normal person, that would probably be okay. But when you're talking to Kellyanne Conjob YOU CAN'T ASSUME THAT. With her, if you ever hear her mention a 'fact' that you haven't heard before, you have no choice but to assume SHE PULLED IT OUT OF HER ASS! You immediately STOP your line of questioning, and say "sorry...WHAT? What is this thing you're speaking of?"

I mean, this is Chris Matthews, for goodness sake. He's the guy who stopped a conservative radio twit dead in his tracks when the guy accused Obama of 'appeasement' like Neville Chamberlain. Matthews asked the guy what Chamberlain ACTUALLY DID, and the guy couldn't answer because he didn't know. He made him look like a total idiot. And Matthews just missed his chance to do the same to Conway.
