(74 posts)If the republican chickenshits hadn't made it against the law for a president to run for reelection more than once. This was because we had a Democrat (FDRoosevelt) who was so popular he actually got elected President four times. Since there's no way that would work for a Republican, they had to put a stop to that by changing the law, as is their wont. The reason he was so popular with the voters is he actually caused things to get done that benefitted the majority, rather than the top 1%, and that makes Republicans look bad, so they hated him, and made up hateful names for him, and actually, there was a "cocktail putsch" dreamed up by some industrialists, to take over the government, but it went nowhere, unlike the present one. BTW, the things FDR got done are what the GOP is bragging about their plan to eliminate. Too bad for the 99%!
